Sangria

  • 1 bottle (750 ml) cheapo red wine
  • 1 cup orange juice
  • 1/2 cup rum
  • 1/2 lemon
  • 1 lime
  • 1 orange
  • 1/2 cup sugar dissolved in 1 cup hot water
  • chopped apples, plums, etc.

Let everything blend overnight.

  1. I didn’t read the title of your post, and after reading the ingredients I was like, “well that’s the stupidest mulled wine I’ve ever heard of. No spice! And it’s September!”

    Josie Jones’ Sangria Recipe:
    1 bottle red wine (rioja)
    10-oz. orange juice
    1 6-oz pineapple juice
    1+ jigger (2-oz) Brandy/Courvosier
    1+ jigger Cointreau
    1 8-oz (1/2 can or mini) Sprite
    1/2 lime or add to taste
    *LET SIT 24 HOURS BEFORE SERVING
    * no idea what a jigger is, but…
    yeah. Hope this can be another alternative!
